Girl Happy New Year everyone!

Very nice with some days off, before it all started again with camera rehearsals last week. These days we’re at NRK working on the vocal performance. SOS - My Hard is yours:) Skien - look out!

Regular Wednesday at the museum for Girl Happy

We also managed to sneak in some GP promo work. Then a nice dinner before first rehearsal with our choreographer at the studio downtown. There are pictures from rehearsals as well - but you’ll never see them.. for several reasons:)

Girl Happy is one of the 21 acts competing in Eurovision Song Contest 2011!! At a press conference in Oslo earlier today, Per Sundnes could finally announce that the song SOS will blow your sorry television speakers February 29th - broadcasted live from Skien in true NRK style! Just letting you guys know that the amazing Chrystalief has joined the band as our new guitarist! We’re currently in Livingroom Studios in Oslo - working on some great stuff with the guys there. Stay tuned for more exiting news… very soon.

Back home

Fantastic feedback on our new material from our most hard core fans at home in Sandvika!! Nice with a lot of familiar faces in the crowd - thanks everyone! The last two shows of the tour was Lillestrøm Friday, and then Sarpsborg yesterday. Take it to Ålesund

Quite the drive but what an amazing scenery on the way to Ålesund. Great weather, awesome view passing Trollveggen, and a speeding ticket just about sums up the car trip. After some trouble with a certain drummer being abducted by local russ, the band delivered in Ålesund and went on to another great show in Hamar, the next day!
